G. Climate

Seoul features distinct four seasons. It is best to travel the city during the spring and fall when it is warm and doesn't often rain. However, in the summer, hot and humid weather lasts from June to the middle of September, as the average temperature ranges from 20 to 27 degrees Centigrade (68 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit). Winter is rather cold compared to other cities located at the same latitude, with the average temperature ranging from -5 to 0 degrees Centigrade (23 to 32 degrees Fahrenheit). We recommend that you carry a jacket in the spring and fall because daily temperature ranges are broad. We also recommend a warm coat for winter. Keep in mind that sunglasses and an umbrella can protect you against strong sunlight or sudden rainfall in the summer.
